I’ll date myself with this statement, but I remember when debit cards didn’t exist, or at least when they were fairly new ideas. Most people still carried actual dollar bills and change (the little round things with president’s heads on them). Many times, you had the “change” needed on you for a particular transaction. Change was everywhere! Nowadays, most of us are probably stumped when arriving somewhere that has a sign posted “Cash Only”. As a kid, those couple of dollar bills, and the many loose quarters, dimes, nickels, and yes, even pennies, accumulated to a boat-load of cash in our penny jars. This loose change helped us make a difference in our attitude (buying a pack of gum), and possibly, how others viewed us (being able to share that pack of gum).
Change was inevitable then, and “change” remains inevitable today. Many people do not like change. Does it bug you when something goes differently than you anticipated, or when it simply comes out of nowhere? But remember, without change the world would never have seen and experienced the many wonderful technical achievements, foods, songs, etc. that have been found, developed and birthed. Remarkable!!!
Today, are you throwing away change, or are you embracing what you can from it? Without a lot of change, there can never be a lot of currency (i.e. mental/spiritual wealth) that can be shared and spent/applied on others. Jesus came into the world so that it [the world] could change. We must let Him change us so we can help Him change the world!
Are you being faced with change? If so, I encourage you to grab hold to it and welcome it with open arms. Someday, when you least expect it or even know that it has occurred, the many small changes in you will help you make a big difference in others! So, loose change: is it worth it? Yes it is!

Thank you Luke.
Very nicely put!
