Dr. Gambill is the full-time Assistant Professor of Music / Coordinator of Music Business and Music Technology at Lee University. He proudly continues his work with music production and publishing, while bringing his passions and knowledge to his students in music business at Lee University.

IMG_0775His father, grandfather, as well as several uncles and cousins, were/are pastors. After spending many years as a local church worship pastor, God opened the door for Luke to step into the Christian music industry, while continuing to remain heavily involved in the local church.

This blog is a journal of Luke’s experiences and thoughts of one in the academic world, ministry, and music production — holding on to “normalcy” as it relates to his quest as a leader, musician, friend, and encourager.

I believe in God, the Father Almighty,
creator of heaven and earth.

I believe in Jesus Christ, his only Son, our Lord,
who was conceived by the Holy Spirit,
born of the Virgin Mary,
suffered under Pontius Pilate,
was crucified, died, and was buried;
he descended to hell.
On the third day he rose again;
he ascended into heaven,
is seated at the right hand of the Father,
and will come again to judge the living and the dead.

I believe in the Holy Spirit,
the holy *catholic church,
the communion of saints,
the forgiveness of sins,
the resurrection of the body,
and the life everlasting. Amen.

  1. I’m desperately looking for a copy of the split-track CD for your musical “Because He Lives” Easter program. I have purchased the leader’s guide and the listening CD, but the split track is no longer in stock. I can’t find it from any distributors. Do you have any leads where I might be able to find a copy?

    1. Unfortunately, I no longer have access to these audio masters. I can only suggest asking around Facebook and other social media outlets, along with searching places like eBay. I am so, so sorry!!!!

  2. Do you happen to have access to “Scripture Song Memory for Kids” mini-musical split-track accompaniment? I would love to use this resource with the kids at my church.

  3. Hi, Dr Gambill, I am looking for When Hope come down from Christmas this year accompaniment music and the SATB score. Is it possible to purchase from you as it is out of stock online. My contact is penangcc1@gmail.com. Thank you for your reply

  4. Hi, Mr. Gambill! Our church has the children’s musical Jesus Means Christmas to Me published by Brentwood Benson in 2016. We LOVE the song “Jesus Means Christmas to Me.” Now since Covid, our services are livestreamed. I can’t find this song listed in CCLI songs (we have a CCLI livestreaming license). We would love to have permission to livestream our children singing this song at Christmas. Thank you!

  5. Could you please send lyrics to “Bless the Lord”? I heard it on my Pandora and can’t find the lyrics online. It’s a beautiful song.

    1. Thanks for reaching out!!! Honestly, I produced this project so long ago that I don’t even recall which version of this song is on that project and I don’t have Pandora. So, I’m of no help for you. Maybe try a Google search. My apologies!!! Merry Christmas!!!

  6. I was looking for your sheet music to an arrangement you did with “Prepare Our Hearts” & “Holy Ground.” Can you tell me how to find it or purchase it?

  7. Hey Luke! Big fan of your music! Do you have a chord chart for a band for your arrangement of Great I Am by chance? If so, do you know where I could find out? Feel free to email me at peterquinlan37@gmail.com if you prefer. Thank you so much for your time 🙂

    1. Thank you for reaching out! I’m sorry, but I don’t have this. Maybe check places like eBay and other out-of-print choral sites for a copy of it. So wish I could lend a hand! Hope you have a super new year!!!
